On August 10, the first “Fight!” – the loud call from the referee – was heard by all the fans of the online show Pit Bull Fight II. The second season was triumphantly opened by Serhiy Yaropud, wushu sanda master, 12-time champion of Ukraine, winner of Ukrainian cups, winner of 2 international wushu sanda tournaments; and Yaroslav Solodovnyk, master of sports, two-time Ukrainian boxing champion, Ukrainian Cup champion. Before the start of the second season of the fighting tournament by the energy drink brand PIT BULL, a trailer was released on the official Pit Bull Fight YouTube channel. The video expresses the explosive mood of the show and announces some important changes that have taken place with development and improvement of the project.
In general, the second season promises to be very diverse, as the organizers have significantly expanded the options for selecting participants. Four professional solo middleweight fighters (80 kg, first four) and four welterweight fighters (70 kg, second four) will take part in the fights; two teams of antagonistic football fans and two teams of professional athletes, who will meet in pairs on the octagon in the 3×3 format of team fights. There will also be an amateur fight between ordinary guys who registered on the website and would like to blow off some steam, and a hot bonus – the grand finale between the winners of the 2019 tournament Nidzhat Valiyev and Oleksandr Ten. A legendary show is guaranteed!
The list of different martial arts that are in the championship this season was expanded: boxing, wushu sanda, martial sambo, kickboxing, Thai boxing and hand-to-hand combat have been joined by judo – a Japanese martial art, the so-called “path of unarmed combat”, and grappling – complex fighting style based on the use of pain-inducing and suffocating techniques. Fighters from all over Ukraine will present their winning skills – from Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Poltava and Kyiv to the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad regions and Luhansk. Among the technical innovations are: tougher combat gloves – 8-ounce, with cropped fingertips, like in MMA; 30 seconds were added to the clinch and ground so that the fighters could make more spectacular throws.

Our goal is to create realistic projects that are relevant for the audience, in the spirit of the times, attracting hundreds of thousands of organic views. The concept of the second season of Pit Bull Fight was also commented on by Ivan Bazar, head of #ODDEE Agency, who co-authored the project: “In the new season, we wanted to give viewers even more emotions and a more spectacular show. Therefore, football fans were invited to the octagon fights. CSKA vs Dynamo is a battle with an interesting background of ultras clashes. If the law allowed (without consequences) fights without gloves, we would do it, but unfortunately… We also changed the approach to revealing the stories of each fighter, adding a lifestyle.
