NON STOP S.T.A.L.K.E.R. energy drink dedicated to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 game made its debut at Gamescom 2023, the world’s largest video game trade fair


Collection limited-edition energy drink NON STOP S.T.A.L.K.E.R. along with the long-awaited demo of the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl was presented at Gamescom 2023. The world’s largest video game trade fair was held on August 23–27 in Cologne (Germany).

Gamers who came to play the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 demo at the Xbox booth, as well as other visitors to Ukrainian booth, had an opportunity to taste NON STOP S.T.A.L.K.E.R. enegry drink. This year, it was for the first time organized at Gamescom to demonstrate that the Ukrainian gaming industry and business still rank high despite the full-scale russian invasion, and also in order to attract foreign investment.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl game developed by the Ukrainian company GSC Game World was a real blast. Those who wanted to play the 15-minute demo version booked a spot in the queue a few hours ahead. In each case, the game session could be longer or shorter, since the main feature of the game is its variable nature, and the player’s next steps in the game have unexpected global consequences. But the key to the survival of stalkers is the search for valuable resources such as food, medicines, and NON STOP energy drink which boosts stamina of its characters and helps them move faster and overcome obstacles.

As you know, the NON STOP and GSC Game World partnership has been lasting for a long time. For the first-time, NON STOP energy drink was featured back in 2007 in the debut part of the franchise – S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chornobyl. According to the plot of the game, one could buy energy drinks from merchants, other stalkers, or search for them in special hidden places.

Visitors to Gamescom 2023 enjoyed more than 3 500 cans of NONSTOP drink, in particular, more than 2 000 cans of NON STOP Original 0,25 l cans, and more than 1 500 NON STOP S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 0,5 l cans designed in line with the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 game’s plot. The limited version of the drink has watermelon flavour.

As you know, the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy was released in 2007–2009, and captivated its players around the world with realistic Chornobyl landscapes and the eerie beauty of the world full of mutants, anomalies, and stalkers – adventurers who seeked to unravel the secrets of the exclusion zone. The company sold 15 million copies of the game. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is the fourth game in the iconic franchise boasting upgraded graphics and new features.

Gamescom is the world’s largest video games trade fair in terms of its scope and number of visitors. This year, 1 220 participants from 63 countries took part in it, with several hundred thousand people visiting the fair. Its programme featured demonstrations of new games from developers from all over the world, eSports tournaments, cosplay parties, and meet-and-greet parties with industry heroes. The Ukrainian booth occupied 100 sq. m.
