Caring for others is what makes us human. Awareness, disinterestedness, responsibility are the components of that pro-European civilizational culture, which has been consistently promoted for more than half a year by the “Kraplya do Krapli” charity donor initiative, created by the DonorUA project and the Pryrodne Dzherelo brand. Despite the lockdown, our like-minded people and followers continue to increase their activity, gradually becoming that tangible resource that can affect the problem of lack of donor blood in Ukraine. Therefore, we would like to inform you that thanks to you, as of the end of April, 832 815 hryvnias of financial assistance have already been collected, 3 138 new donors have been attracted and 9 414 human lives have been saved.
“It is important to understand that we are doing this together. That every drop is weighty, every effort is essential. Many people, once crossing the threshold of the donor office and feeling gratitude and support for their little feat, return and make regular donation a part of their lifestyle. Those who have not yet decided to donate blood as such, know that they can simply choose “Pryrodne Dzherelo” drinking water for their families in the store and thus make their contribution to the donor movement. Regardless of the chosen path – blood or water – you “pour” into a good deed and set an example for others. After all, donation is an area where the effect of mass character is ultimately decisive”, – rightly noted Elena Selutina, Communications Director of New Products Group.
In April, the project “Kraplya do Krapli” for the first time joined the DonorUA ART Project art competition, which has been held for the third year in a row. The idea is to popularize blood donation through art and to encourage creative people to actively develop this topic in their works. The competition is open to artists, photographers, illustrators, designers interested in the topic of blood donation. To do this, you need to send your works (drawings, animations, photos, videos, etc., without restrictions in the genre) on the topic “Donation is about life” to the mailbox a.magaletskyi@donor.ua. The competition will run from April 20 to June 5. The winner will receive from the organizers UAH 10,000 of gratitude for his creative efforts and civic position.
The project “Kraplya do Krapli” continues to deliver free of charge drinking artesian water “Pryrodne Dzherelo” to donor centers in Kyiv, Dnipro, Odessa, Lviv, Kharkiv, Zhitomir and Vinnitsa. Soon, Mykolaiv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Cherkasy will join the list of cities in which donors will receive their gift bottle of useful water. We remind you that on each bottle there is a special label with basic information about the project “Kraplya do Krapli”, as well as in which way each consumer can be involved in the development of donation in Ukraine.

This, perhaps, motivates you to absolutely different steps in life, because when there is a feeling that you are a hero, the strength appears to change this world for the better. But this is the first step that will help you to look at the world differently”, – emphasized Irina Slavinska-Ritsner, founder of DonorUA.
